Week 9 - Design ideas for cafe a la sal sign, poster and program

Here are few ideas I have in regards to the look of the logo for Cafe a la Sal

I've mostly had a play around with the calligraphy of of what the actual text of 'Cafe a la Sal' could look like. We want the sign itself to look quite alluring and sophisticated, almost french maybe. I really the swirly and flowing style of writing, I think it matches the coffee cups well. I think the two take out coffee cups would look quite good to highlight this aspect of relationships being a strong theme throughout the piece. 

Here is the final image we settled on for both the program and the poster. Additionally this is the same as the sandwich board that we have had made by a designer, so when people see the poster up around university then come to the play, they will draw similarities between the poster and sandwich board, as well as the program.
